We log your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website. This information is also used to allow us to determine statistical usage of the website. The referring URL (the webpage you left before coming to a ezdesign webpage, if any) is logged whenever you view a page on the ezdesign website. This allows us to see which areas are more popular than others on the website, the paths taken to reach each page, etc. In times of peak usage, being able to log the referring URL can sometimes help us alleviate traffic flow so that more users can reach the site without errors. When you log into the ezdesign website, your IP information is automatically associated with your username and posts. This relationship is viewable only to the MAIN site administrators. If this information is accessed, it is used solely to track the usage of "problem users". We do not currently disclose this information to any third party, nor do we have plans to do so in the future. If we have a reason to disclose that information, an announcement will be made in an "Announcements" forum of the ezdesign website, and this privacy notice will be amended. We may occasionally run polls of the users on various issues and topics. Participation in these polls is entirely voluntary, and any information tying your IP address to your vote is discarded without being viewed by the moderators or administrators. [b]Advertisers and Cookies[/b] ezdesign uses cookies only in the site to allow you to log in automatically, keep track of the last time you logged in (so that you can be told if there are new artiles or downloads, for instance) and to provide a unique session ID for your visit session for database access and management. [b]Personal Information[/b] Personal information collected by ezdesign is limited to your chosen user name, a valid email address, and a password of your choosing. Please note that you must be at least 13 years of age to use this messageboard. You control whether or not your email address is visible to other users when they view your profile or click on a button on the bottom of one of your posts. To disable other members from seeing your email address, click on the item marked "Settings" at the top right of the main page and set the item "Hide email address?:" to "No". Note that the board administrators and moderators always have access to your email address. You are required to maintain a valid email address connected to your Forum login name in order to use the board. While we do collect your email address, it is used only to automatically provide you with an activation code verify your registration, or to respond to your queries (however we will usually respond to queries via Private Message and not via email). You may optionally provide your instant message addresses, web page addresses, and other personal information by clicking on the "profile" button at the top left of the main ezdesign theme. You are urged to use common sense in what you reveal about yourself in your profile. If you choose to include your ICQ / AIM / MSN /Y! addresses, your website URL, your location, occupation, interests, or a signature line, these items will always be publicly viewable to all users. The only way to not have them shown is to delete them from your profile. Except as provided for above, any personal information collected will not be disclosed to any third party, except in the case of cooperating with law enforcement agencies to aid in identifying those persons using our services for illegal activities. Information may be given even without a subpoena or court order if we believe such illegal activity is being conducted through our services.
